Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for the Evening of July 1st
Clarke Mosquito will be performing a Village-wide spray for mosquitoes the evening of July 1st, weather permitting. Residents may call the Clarke Mosquito Hotline at 630-671-3100 and ask to be added to the "Prior Notification List" for the Village of Vernon Hills. Residents will be asked to provide their name, address, and phone number, and this will allow them to receive a phone call from Clarke the day of the Village-wide spray.
West Nile Virus Positive Mosquitoes Found in Morton Grove and Northbrook
The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District has found the first West Nile virus positive mosquitoes to occur in our traps in Morton Grove and Northbrook this year. Batches of mosquitoes collected June 28, 2024, from NSMAD traps in Morton Grove and Northbrook tested positive for West Nile virus in our lab on July 2.
