In 1970 I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I was 15 years old and felt as if the God above hated me. I have now lived with the monster for more than 50 years and have learned that God did not forsake me.

"So, how do you like being genetically modified?"

I'm not sure if my art is the way it is because of my brain disorder or because I'm just weird. Maybe it's a little of both.

"Walking in a Daze!"

My art has allowed me to express some of the feelings people with seizure disorders go through. The drawing above is about having an Aura, the phase before having a grand mal seizure.

I have been drawing since I was a kid. Over the years I watched my art evolve into the madness you see today. I never think of what I am about to draw. I begin with a line, straight or curving, then I keep it up until I see a piece of art in front of me.

Brainwave Cartoons developed as more of my friends with epilepsy asked me to share my insane art with them. The nice thing about my art is that you don't need to have epilepsy to enjoy it.
