Narcotics investigation by Chillicothe Police results in several arrests
Chillicothe Police, on Saturday morning, responded to the 500 block of Mohawk to locate a wanted individual with active Livingston County arrest warrants. The suspect was found and served with warrants related to possession of a controlled substance and burglary. Additional charges are pending after narcotics were discovered in his possession.

Medical issue leads to motorcycle crash on Menefee Road in Chariton County
A motorcycle accident on Menefee Road, two miles north of Wein, resulted in moderate injuries to the driver on July 13, 2024, at 9:32 p.m. John L. Noll, a 58-year-old man from New Cambria, Missouri, was riding his 1986 Yamaha motorcycle westbound when he suffered a medical issue. This caused him to lose control after striking some loose gravel, which led the motorcycle to collide with a bridge railing. Noll was ejected over the railing of the bridge.
