Brewers’ Ross pitches with Timber Rattlers on rehab assignment
GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - Brewers starting pitcher Joe Ross got back on the mound in his first rehab start with the Timber Rattlers on Saturday. Ross has been on the injured list with a lower back injury since May 21st, and said after the outing he was able to work through his two and two thirds innings of work without any issues.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The holiday weekend is winding down, but there will be some decent weather to enjoy. That includes Saturday night, with some clouds around and dry conditions for the fireworks displays that are taking place. Clouds will increase toward morning on Sunday. A chance of scattered showers and storms on Sunday from the morning to the late afternoon. Monday and Tuesday will feature intervals of sun, along with chances of showers or storms. Wednesday will have an isolated afternoon storm in spots, but it does appear dry weather will take hold late in the week into the start of next weekend. It will also get warmer, with highs rising into the 80s.

Milwaukee, WI – According to the court documents, the young mom, later identified as 24-year-old Nattasha, was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 3 years of probation after pleading guilty to chiId abuse. Prosecutors claim the young mother reportedly abused her little child, while being recorded on camera. The mother’s 26-year-old friend, later identified as Ammara, was also arrested in connection with the incident because she reportedly hit one of the responding officers.

A 38-year-old Milwaukee man is facing drug and gun charges after being pulled over for a traffic violation in the town of Turtle. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Reymon D. Davis in the area of southbound Interstate 43 and East Hart Road just after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday after a run of his plates indicated that his license was suspended.

2 arrested after altercation at Sam’s Club, OC spray used on bystanders
FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people were arrested after an altercation in which one of the individuals used OC spray, commonly known as pepper spray, on Friday, July 5. According to the Franklin Police Department, it happened around 5:30 p.m. at a Sam’s Club near 27th and Sycamore. Police responded to a report of a physical altercation inside the store. One of the subjects involved in the altercation used the spray on the other people involved in the altercation as well as bystanders, according to police.
