Hanover Pride announces organization has been dissolved: 'We have had an incredible run'
After four years of bringing the LGBTQ+ community and their allies together in the Hanover area, Pride Hanover announced that the organization has been dissolved permanently. "I wish the organization could continue, but unfortunately, my personal circumstances no longer allow me to devote the time and energy required," said founder Naomi Asper in a post on the group's social media accounts.
Police identify victim of deadly crash involving moped on Interstate 81 South
MANCHESTER, Pa. — A 70-year-old York County man died of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 South Sunday night, State Police said. Richard Thornton Fletcher, of Manchester, was operating a 2015 Yamaha YW50F moped near Mile Marker 59.4 in Hampden Township at about 11:39 p.m. when he attempted to merge from the right lane to the left lane and was struck from behind by a 2023 Freightliner M2 medium-duty truck. The impact caused Fletcher to fall off his vehicle, according to State Police.
