PSP Roundup: More charges for duo accused of stealing almost $1,500 from Chambersburg Walmart
17 July 2024- Two women who were charged with thousands of dollars in retail thefts from a Cumberland County Walmart are now facing charges in Franklin County. Toni Marshall and Deja Tubbs were charged in Cumberland County in May and are looking at retail theft charges in Franklin County after allegedly stealing from Chambersburg’s Walmart.

The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Food employees observed in prep area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers. Hat was then corrected on sight, but no beard covers available. Observed food ingredient storage containers (bins), in the front and back areas, are not labeled with the common name of the food. Food dispensing utensils in the set of three rolling bins of spices observed stored in the food and not with handle above the top of the food and the container. Commercially processed refrigerated, ready to eat, time/temperature control for safety food, located in the small True walk-in cooler in the front prep area, and held more than 24 hours, is not being marked with the date it was opened. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. Observed three lids on the set of rolling floor bins located in prep area, are not in good repair or condition and are in need of replacement. Observed pink and black mold-like substance on the interior crash bar of the large ice machine in the back area and is not clean to sight or touch. Observed two hot mitts that were extremely dirty and coming in contact with food. Corrected on sight. Observed salt shaker that is extremely dirty and coming in contact with salt dispensed. Observed a large floor fan in the front prep area with accumulation of static dust and flour and in need of cleaning. Observed the exterior of the Amana microwave, in the front prep area, with accumulation of dried food debris and in need of cleaning. Observed a set of three large rolling bins in the front prep area and one large white rolling bin in the back area with accumulation of food debris on the exteriors and in need of cleaning. Observed single-service, single-use articles (a case of 22 ounce cups) stored in back dry storage area directly on the floor, and not 6 inches above the floor. Mops are not being hung to air dry.
No Charges Filed In Shooting Near State Capitol
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Charges will not be filed in the fatal shooting near the Pennsylvania State Capitol last month. The Dauphin County District Attorney's Office has ruled the shooting on the 200 block of State Street was in self-defense. Officials said 52-year-old Paul Kattouf was discharging pepper spray into a vehicle containing a pregnant woman, male, and child when he was shot. The shooting reportedly stemmed from a road rage incident.
