Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Medical Campus recently hosted the 2024 Randy Boaz Memorial ALS Competition, an annual event where teams of paramedics and emergency medical technicians face off in various emergency scenarios under the clock. The competition featured local, state, national and international teams. The competition also featured the first ever all-female team (pictured l-r): Victoria Diaz de Villegas, Rim Abdala and Maria Furlan.
