AZLE, Texas — The body of a man, who officials initially believe drowned, was recovered from Eagle Mountain Lake on Monday. The Tarrant Regional Water District says they TRWD officer and Game Wardens with Texas Parks and Wildlife were called to the lake to search for the man in his mid-30s on Saturday evening near Schooner Drive. Fort Worth police seek community help to identify aggravated robbery suspect
FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for aggravated robbery. On Friday, July 12, around 4:40 a.m., the victim stopped at an ice machine in the parking lot at the 3900 block of Hemphill. The victim, driving a pickup towing a flatbed construction trailer, was approached by a Hispanic male who produced a handgun. The suspect ordered the victim out of the truck and drove off with the truck and trailer north on Hemphill, according to a statement from the department.

Small Plane Damaged in Non-Injury Crash at Winfield Airport
A small aircraft is damaged after a weekend accident near Winfield. The plane – a 2004 Series 7 KitFox - was piloted by 60-year-old John Swofford of Fort Worth, TX, and was en route to a final destination of Fort Worth when it landed at Strother Field around 2:15 on Friday afternoon. After the plane landed, a gust of wind caused the plane to lose control and the pilot was unable to correct. The small plane came to rest on a grass embankment and sustained major damage to the prop and left wing. The pilot was uninjured.
