Million Dollar Home Sales Pacing for Record in Western New York
With the year just half over, Erie County is on pace to set a new record in terms of houses selling for more than $1 million. Big Reveal: BENLIC Infill Homes
The first designs for the affordable, single-family homes planned for scattered sites in Buffalo and Cheektowaga have been released. The City of Buffalo has identified 46 vacant properties where 47 affordable, single-family homes are to be constructed. An additional five homes will be constructed in Cheektowaga. Buffalo News Will No Longer Print on Certain Days
There will be no more coupon flipping after Thanksgiving dinner. The Buffalo News' parent company announced that they will not be printing anymore on major holidays. Lee Enterprises, who bought the Buffalo News back in 2020, sent out an email last week saying that the employees will be enjoying their families during the holidays and that there will be no more physical paper being printed on major holidays:
$2.8M in liens filed over stalled Canalside project
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Several contractors have filed liens related to the stalled Heritage Point project at Canalside, alleging $2.8 million in unpaid bills. Sinatra & Co. and its investment partners have spent more than $12 million out of pocket while trying to secure a loan, according to CEO Nick Sinatra. Now he says he's found a lender but is trying to secure another $4 million loan from the state in order to seal the deal and restart the project.
