HFD adds new ladder truck to fleet
HAMILTON — Tower One was added to the lineup of fire apparatus at the Hamilton Fire Department on June 17, 2024. The 2006 E-ONE Elevated Platform Snorkel Truck was purchased from the Muscle Shoals Fire Department for $400,000. The fire department contributed $100,000 of three-mill fire protection tax funds, with the city using COVID relief funds, and other resources, for the remainder of the cost.
Vina’s July Fest takes place July 27
Vina’s annual July Fest returns this Saturday at the Vina Fire Department. From 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., there will be vendors. A car show will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drawn Down tickets will be called beginning at 5:30 p.m. A fireworks show will take place at 9 p.m.
