    More Local High School Graduates that Starred In College Outdoor Athletics this Spring

    HAMILTON, NJ -  Last month we brought the collegiate athletic accomplishments of several former Hamilton high school students to our reader's attention. We followed that up with some highlights from Robbinsville High School's former athletes now competing at the college level.

    Here are some more graduates of Hamilton West, Nottingham and Steinert High School that competed at the college level this past spring season:

    Evan Bresnen and Jordan Nitti, graduates of Steinert High School were on the roster for the Stockton University (Galloway, NJ) baseball team this year. Nitti, a junior infielder started in all 40 games and had a .323 batting average for Stockton. He had 54 hits, including 12 doubles (tied for team lead), one triple, two home runs, 27 RBIs (tied for second on the team) and 29 runs scored.

    Bresnen, a sophomore infielder started in 38 games and had a .284 batting average. He had 42 hits, including seven doubles, one triple, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored.

    The Ospreys posted an overall record of 22-18 with a mark of 7-6 on their home field. In the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) they went 12-6. Stockton advanced to the NJAC Tournament where they were defeated by Kean University and The College of New Jersey.

    Grace Gaskill (Steinert High School) was a senior who played first base for the William Paterson University (Wayne, NJ) softball team this year. Gaskill played in all 32 games and started in 29 of them for WPU. She had a .310 batting average with 27 hits, including two doubles, a triple, 11 RBIs and five runs scored.

    The Pioneers won five games, with three wins on their home field and three victories in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

    Jeffrey Num (Nottingham High School) and Arrington Rhym (Hamilton West High School) were both members of the Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ) men’s track and field program this past season. Num was a sophomore competitor in sprints for the Rowan. Rhym, a freshman competitor in jumps, earned First Team All New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) honors in the high jump.

    The Profs earned first place in the team scoring at the NJAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Stockton University in Galloway.

    Evelyn Macias Pilco (Hamilton West High School) was on the roster as a junior competitor in sprints for the Rutgers University (Camden campus) women’s outdoor track and field program. Macias Pilco was a part of the Rutgers Camden 4 by 100 relay team that placed seventh at The College of New Jersey Invite held in Ewing.

    The Scarlet Raptors placed eighth in the team scoring at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet hosted by Stockton University in Galloway.

    Judeson Mirac (Nottingham High School) was a senior who competed in sprints for the Saint Peter’s University (Jersey City) men’s track and field program this past season. Mirac placed fourth in the 100 meter at the Metropolitan Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in New York, New York.

    The Peacocks placed sixth in the team scoring at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Rider University in Lawrenceville.
