Missing teen located and safe

UPDATE: Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say Jaylynn Alvord has been safely located.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Monroe County Sheriffs are asking for assistance with locating missing teen Jaylynn Alvord.

Deputies say Alvord was seen leaving her grandmother’s home on Rose Circle in Hamlin on Friday July 26 around 7:00 p.m.

A family member of Alvord’s said they believed to have seen her around 12:00 a.m. on July 29 walking with a group of friends on Brick School House Road in Hamlin.

Alvord is described as 5-foot 6-inches, and was last seen wearing a black crop top shirt, black shorts and beige crocs.

According to deputies, there are not any extenuating circumstances at this time, and it is not being reported that Alvord has “run-away” in the past.

Deputies are asking anyone with information to call 911.
