Iowa Falls Police Make an Arrest Monday Morning
Monday after 10:00 a.m. the Iowa Falls Police Department was called out on the report of a resident making threats toward other residents at a home along College Avenue. Upon arrival, Iowa Falls police arrested 32-year-old Jennifer Carty of Iowa Falls on two counts of assault, one count of interference with official acts causing bodily injury and one count of assault on persons in certain occupations.

Campfire ashes blamed for shed fire in Mason City
MASON CITY, Iowa – Hot ashes are being blamed for an early Tuesday morning shed fire in Mason City. Firefighters were sent to the 1800 block of S. Virginia Avenue around 4:06 am after a 911 call from a nearby resident. The Mason City Fire Department (MCFD) says crews arrived at the scene to find a shed on fire.
