Several injured in tragic wreck near Downtown Beaumont
A violent collision in The Avenues neighborhood of Beaumont has injured several people, including an elderly woman and a child, according to Beaumont police. Two vehicles collided at about 7:45 p.m. Monday near Washington and Avenue A. At least one vehicle was briefly on fire and some of those injured were trapped in the vehicles until first responders could free them.
