    3D-printed gun parts lead to teen’s arrest in Hanford, police say

    HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A teen in Hanford was arrested on Friday after being found with 3D-printed gun components, according to the Hanford Police Department.

    The Hanford Police Department Street Crimes Unit says they executed a search warrant on the 3000 block of Sage Avenue.

    According to police during the search, officers found several 3D-printed gun parts, including lower receivers, pins, trigger rails, and barrels.

    Officers say there is evidence of part manufacturing after finding a 3D printer, computers, and related software in the home. Ammunition was also discovered.

    Hanford police say a 16-year-old was arrested in connection with the investigation and was booked into the Kings County Juvenile Center on multiple firearm manufacturing charges.
