PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Manual’s Dietrich Richardson says he’s close to making a college basketball decision. The 6-foot-6 guard is at or near the top of every ranking of Illinois high school basketball players in the Class of 2025. But Richardson is still working to improve especially his jump shot as he nears a college decision.

Peoria Park District set to begin girls flag football league
Girls flag football is coming to Peoria. The Peoria Park District is partnering with the NFL to start a youth girls flag football league on August 13. This program is the first of its kind for PPD, which offers a chance for girls ages 9 to 14 to "learn the game of football in a safe setting."
