Broadcasters Foundation: Giving Day Generates $65,000 For Those In Need.
The Broadcasters Foundation of America says its annual Giving Day on June 13 raised $65,000. “That figure is in line with how much was raised last year, and we hope that will increase in 2025 and beyond,” Tim McCarthy, President of the Broadcasters Foundation, tells Inside Radio. “To date, over our 70-year history, we’ve been able to provide financial assistance to everyone who qualified. Our goal is to make sure every broadcaster is aware of our charitable purpose, in case they or someone they know needs our help.”
