Delta flight makes emergency landing after passengers served contaminated food
NEW YORK CITY (WKRC) - A Delta Air Lines flight, which was carrying 277 customers, made an emergency landing after the passengers were reportedly served contaminated food. According to The Daily Mail, Delta Flight 136 flew out of Detroit, Michigan and was on its way to The Netherlands when the flight was unexpectedly diverted to JFK Airport in New York City. A Delta spokesperson told the publication that the decision was made after it was discovered that some of the in-flight meal service had been spoiled.
Walgreens Closing Select New York Stores
The big-name pharmacy has released a list of stores that are expected to close as the company finalizes a plan to fix its struggling business. Earlier this month we told you that Walgreens CEO Tim Wentworth announced that the company would be closing hundreds of its more than 8,600 drugstores over the next three years. Wentworth explained that "changes are imminent" for about 25% of the company’s underperforming stores, which could affect roughly 2,100 stores across the country.

Delta flight diverts to New York after passengers are served spoiled food
NEW YORK (AP) — A Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was diverted to New York’s Kennedy Airport after passengers were served spoiled food. A Delta spokesperson says the redeye flight took off from Detroit around 11 p.m. Tuesday and landed in New York at 4 a.m. Wednesday after some passengers said they had eaten spoiled food. The Fire Department of New York says emergency medical responders met the flight and treated 12 passengers. It’s not clear how many of the flight’s 277 passengers ate the spoiled food. Delta says it is investigating.
