It's time for the changing of the YAIAA divisions, but the real differences won't be felt until next spring.

In keeping with tradition, the YAIAA has adjusted some of the divisions because of changes to school enrollment. These changes will be in effect for the next two school years.

According to the PIAA website, Northeastern has a female enrollment of 535 and Spring Grove is listed at 497. Female enrollment for the rest of Division I schools are Dallastown, 821; Red Lion, 684; York High, 649; Central York, 633; South Western, 598 and New Oxford, 513.

See how the divisions have changed, here.

What else you should know today:

💧Water main break: A break in a large water main caused numerous residents to experience water issues in the Hanover area yesterday, here's my report.

📰New super charged with DUI: The new superintendent of Spring Grove Area School District was charged with a DUI just days before starting the new job, read more here.

☎️Phone scam: An Adams County woman was scammed out of $16,000 by phone scammers impersonating the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, according to court records. Here's more.

📰York man facing murder charges: A York man has been charged with murder in the death of his cellmate at a state prison in Cumberland County on Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Here's more.

This week's Fur Friends could be your fur friends! Deb Mooradian sent in Calvin and Hobbes, who are her two foster kittens. They are available to be adopted from the Carroll County Humane Society!

    Here's more from Deb:

"They are 14 weeks old and ready for adoption. They’ve got their first set of shots and are neutered and microchipped. $75 adoption fee per kitten to the Carroll County Humane Society. While they do get along great, they don’t need to be adopted together, but it would be lovely if they were. Interested adopters can contact me at debm1@comcast.net . "

Deb also notes that the Carroll County Humane Society is always looking for more foster families!

Thanks for sharing them with us, Deb! I hope they find their fur-ever home!

If any of y'all have feedback, pet photos, or questions, feel free to send them over to my email at hjones@gannett.com ! I will do my best to answer any questions if I can, and I will be happy to highlight any comments y'all might have.

That's it for this week of your Daily Briefing! Enjoy the weekend!
