U.S. men's gymnastics team for 2024 Olympics includes Massachusetts natives
MINNEAPOLIS — Massachusetts will be well represented on the U.S. men's gymnastics team at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Local competitors Fred Richard and Stephen Nedoroscik both solidified their spots on the roster Saturday.Richard is a Stoughton High School graduate while Nedoroscik is a Worcester native. Richard, 20, will headline the five-man U.S. team that will head to Paris next month with a legitimate chance to medal after winning the Olympic trials on Saturday.What Fred Richard said about making the Olympic team"It's like a new mountain in my life," Richard said. Men's and Women's Hockey Have Total of 20 All-American Scholars
Milton, MA - The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2023-24 season with the announcement of the eighth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars." To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA. A total of 20 Curry student-athletes were recognized.

Another boys high school tennis season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area. Dighton-Rehoboth (9-6, 7-5 South Coast Conference) led the way locally, recording match sweeps against foes Case and Seekonk and qualifying for the Division 3 tournament before falling to No. 9 Medfield in the Round of 32. Bridgewater-Raynham (5-9, 3-4 Southeast Conference) swept rivals Brockton in both matches while Taunton (2-17, 0-16 Hockomock League) took down non-league foes New Bedford on both occasions.
Meet Greater Fall River's High School Lacrosse All-Scholastic Team
FALL RIVER — The Herald News continues Spring All-Scholastics with lacrosse all-stars. Somerset Berkley and Westport kicked off their inaugural season in the Greater Fall River area in 2024. The Raiders had a boys and girls team while the Wildcats fielded a boys team. Westport and SBR girls had the lone wins out of the three teams.

Milton High boys tennis falls, girls advance to final 8 in D2 tournament
Both Milton High’s tennis entered their first round matchups motivated to avenge last year’s stinging defeats. The two teams received bids to the tournament, giving them the opportunity to put that memory to rest, with the girls being anointed the #9 seed and the boys being given the 16th. It was a moment that couldn’t have come soon enough for both teams, a moment they would try to seize. The girls would be able to do just that, cruising to a 4-1 win over Northampton while the boys fell just short, losing 3-2 to Dartmouth.
