Potential Issues Brewing In Red Sox Bullpen Ahead Of 2024 Trade Deadline
The Boston Red Sox have played themselves into playoff contention over the past month and a half, raising a .500 record to 53-42 before the All-Star break. That reportedly changed the organization’s trade deadline policy, at least for now, from on-the-fence to a buyer’s mentality. However, Boston came out of the break and was brutally swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road. The offense struggled at times, but it wasn’t the biggest concern. Injuries and underperforming outings by their current makeshift pitching group creates a more scary sight. There are potential issues brewing in the Red Sox bullpen ahead of the 2024 trade deadline.
A Red Sox-Mets trade for reunion that fills Boston’s biggest need
The Boston Red Sox are in need of a right-handed power bat in their lineup this year at the trade deadline, which is now just over a week away. Chances are they'll be active in the trade market as they look to fill an important need to bolster their roster for a playoff run. Perhaps they could add a familiar face in a trade with the New York Mets.
Red Sox players send clear message as MLB trade deadline nears
Few expected the Red Sox to be MLB trade deadline buyers when the 2024 season began. But with Boston eight games over .500 (53-45) and in the thick of the American League Wild Card race as of Monday, it's hard to see the team not looking to add before next Tuesday's deadline.

Karen Read Homicide Trial Update: A Motion Hearing, a Juror in Fear, Charges of Targeted Vandalism, and of Course a Netflix Doc on the Way
I know the look. I've seen it before and I see it now with alarming frequency as time passes and the problem only gets worse. The pale skin. Dry mouth. Hollow, glassy eyes doing a middle distance stare that looks right through you, sizing you up. Interested in nothing about you other than evaluating whether or not you can hook them up. "Are you holding?" they might say. Curiously both angry and yet somehow indifferent toward you when you tell them "I got nothing for you."

Mass. weather: Chance of rain, thunderstorms almost daily this week
After a pleasant day with highs in the mid-80s, Massachusetts will experience unsettled weather Monday evening that could be marked by heavy rainfall and localized flooding. But National Weather Service forecasters say the heaviest rainfall is likely to occur offshore, though there is a chance Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard or even Cape Cod are hit hard. The weather service said it could not “rule out” rotating thunderstorms impacting the Cape and Islands overnight.

You May Be Breaking Some of These Massachusetts Laws Without Knowing It
Massachusetts seems to have a law for everything and while it makes sense for some things others are just strange. As we all know the 4th of July recently passed and Massachusetts is the only state that has a law against consumer fireworks including buying, selling, and using. Some folks agree with this law while others think it's complete nonsense. In addition, this law doesn't seem to be enforced in Massachusetts at least not in my area. So, why even have the law if it's not being enforced? Either way, the law is the law.
