Salem Community Schools Move to Earlier Dismissal
The Salem School Board approved earlier dismissal times for the 2024-25 school year. Superintendent Jill Mires explained that she, Transportation Director Ed Jordan and the school principals all worked together to make a plan for how to get the buses back to the bus compound earlier in the evenings because it starts to get dark early from about the end of October through the winter months.

ORANGE COUNTY- The Orange County Historical Society will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Historic Lindley House Museum on Saturday, July 27th. The event will be held (weather permitting) at the Thomas Elwood Lindley House in Paoli and will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Planned activities include guided house tours, special guests, musical entertainment by Lick Creek Band, arts & crafts, heritage-related activities & more. Hometown Scoops will be offering cool and delicious ice cream treats. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
