BeiGene has invested $800 million into a new biologics manufacturing facility in Hopewell, NJ, which also houses its clinical R&D capabilities. BeiGene, an oncology company, announced on July 23, 2024 that it has opened a new biologics manufacturing facility at the Princeton West Innovation Campus in Hopewell, NJ. The facility represents the company’s flagship facility in the United States and also houses a clinical R&D center. The company invested $800 million into the site to expand its integrated manufacturing and R&D footprint in the US.

Arrest Made in Shooting Death of Bayonne Teen
BAYONNE, NJ - A Jersey City teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a Bayonne teen. According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Bayonne Police Department and the Bayonne Fire Department were notified of an unresponsive male inside an apartment at 124 West Third Street. The suspect, also 17, was arrested and charged as a juvenile with Manslaughter, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
