FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — The 49th annual Monmouth County Fair has a date and a location. Rides, music, and food are scheduled to take over the East Freehold Showgrounds for five days later this month. There is a general admission charge to enter the venue, for adults and older kids.
Washington BID Welcomes 3 New Board Members
The Washington Business Improvement District recently welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors. Selected to fill three open slots were Christopher Caruso, owner of Dank Poet Dispensary, Kathy Halpin, resident property owner., and Nicole Kries, owner of the Cellar Door. Halpin isn’t exactly new to the board; she served on the board previously for several years and had and has continued to be a very active volunteer with the organization even while not on the board. Caruso and Kries both opened their businesses in the Borough within the past year and have been committed to working with the WBID previously and are both excited to bring new ideas and initiatives to the business community.
Independence Day 2024: North Plainfield Community Day Set for Saturday
NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Join the Independance Day Celebration at Community Day in North Plainfield on July 6 on the West End School grounds, Greenbrook Road, North Plainfield with Fireworks at dusk with rain date of July 7. North Plainfield will not host a parade on the 4th however, Plainfield will host its 100th Fourth of July Parade on Thursday.
