Two H-E-B locations in Harlingen to undergo renovations

HARLINGEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — An H-E-B location in Harlingen will undergo a $24 million remodeling project starting next year, according to state records.

The project will take place at the H-E-B located on the 600 block of Expressway 83.

This location is one of three H-E-B supermarkets located in the Harlingen area.

This is the second H-E-B in Harlingen to undergo a $20M renovation.

An expansion project is currently underway at a second H-E-B location in Harlingen, located on the 1100 block of Morgan Boulevard.

The H-E-B expansion on Morgan Boulevard began in January of this year and is slated to be complete by March 2025.

The remodeling project for H-E-B by the expressway will start March 2025 with a completion date of Jan. 1, 2027, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
