Digital driver's licenses to come to NC next July
RALEIGH, N.C. — Governor Roy Cooper signed House Bill 199 into law, allowing North Carolinians the option for digital driver's licenses starting July 2025. From Apple Pay to Google Pay, many of us also use our phones to keep up with things like concert tickets, airplane tickets, and even car insurance cards, but soon, that will include your driver's license.
