Nieca Goldberg, MD, to return to practice at NYU
Nieca Goldberg, MD, and cardiologist behind the 'Go Red for Women' campaign announced that she will be returning to practice at NYU Langone (New York City). Dr. Goldberg currently serves as a clinical associate professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine (New York City). Previously, she was the medical director of NYU's Women’s Heart Program, Senior Advisor of Women’s Health Strategy at NYU Langone Health, and the founder and Medical Director of the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health at the NYU Langone Medical Center.

N.J. man sentenced to prison in 114 mph fatal Parkway crash
A man has been sentenced to state prison in a 114 mph crash on the Garden State Parkway that took the life of another driver. Rolando Godwin, 47, of Newark, received a 12-year sentence on Friday, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. He pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter earlier this year.

An automated license plate reader helped the Secaucus Police Department bust trio that was shoplifting from Home Depot last week, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced. Wueilver Vasquez-Martinez, 25, Danyer Jimenez Naspe, 22, and Zallireth Rigio, 33, all of New York, New York, were each charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and using an anti-shoplifting device, Miller said in a statement.

Donjon Marine Awarded $19 Million Dredging Contract
Hillside, N.J. based marine services provider Donjon Marine has been awarded a contract worth more than $19 million for harbor maintenance dredging in New York and New Jersey. The $19,037,475 firm-fixed-price contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' New York District. Donjon was one of two bidders for the project.
