Man arrested after driving away from officers, running onto golf course in Hartford

JUNEAU, Wis. -- A 44-year man was arrested after he allegedly drove away from officers and fled on foot on Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford Saturday afternoon.

Dodge County Sheriff's Office said at approximately 3:10 p.m. officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a speeding motorcycle on County Road O in the township of Ashippun. Sheriff's office said the pursuit ended with the man allegedly abandoning his motorcycle.

The man was apprehended at the golf course and was arrested for felony fleeing and eluding an officer and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (8th offense).

The incident remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
