Traffic Stop Leads To Charges in Hartford
A recent traffic stop in the city of Hartford leads to charges. Hartford Police Officer Koenig stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. During the traffic stop, officers determined that three of the four subjects in the car were on probation. One of the backseat passengers refused to identify himself and was later found out to be on probation for possession of narcotics. A search was conducted of the backseat passenger, and a scale was recovered. The front seat passenger, who was also on probation, was searched and had a yellow torch lighter. Both items are commonly used in the sale and use of narcotics, according to the Hartford Police Department. After finding these two items, the officer also found a broken glass pipe on the seat where the front passenger was sitting.
Suspect Identified in Vandalism Case

Brookfield shoplifting case; police seek ID man who stole from Kohl's
BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Brookfield police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who shoplifted socks and underwear from the Kohl's Department Store on N. 124th Street. Officials said on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23, the man entered the Kohl's and stole $272 in mens and kids socks and underwear. The suspect is believed to be involved in other retail thefts from Kohl’s in the Milwaukee area.
Milwaukee man sentenced life in prison after murder of Brown Deer brothers
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was sentenced to life in prison after the murder of two brothers from Brown Deer on Wednesday, July 24. Twenty-year-old Joseph Tucker was charged with two counts first degree intentional homicide -- as a party to a crime -- and operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, as a party to a crime.

Vandalism and Burglary Incident Under Investigation
The investigation continues in Slinger. A photo of the suspect's vehicle in a vandalism - burglary incident at the Slinger High School press box, as well as newly reported vandalism at Slinger Middle School has been posted on the Slinger Police Facebook page. It is a white Ford Fusion with a sunroof. No front plate was visible in any video obtained.
