HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – A pleasant summer evening.  A free concert in the park.  That is what Hasbrouck Heights residents were treated to on Thursday, July 25, as the Borough kicked off its Summer Concert in the Park Series.

After opening remarks from Hasbrouck Heights Mayor Ron Kistner welcoming those who were in attendance, The Past Masters kicked off their concert with “It Feels Like the First Time” by Foreigner.  They followed with a variety of songs from classic rock artists from the 60s forward, including The Black Crows (Hard to Handle), Bon Jovi (Who Says You Can’t Come Home), and the Beatles (Got to Get You into My Life.)

"It was a great night with a bigger turnout than I could hope for, and the band, Past Masters, was awesome," said Kistner. "For it being the first Mayor and Council Celebration Committee concert, I could not be happier. I am really looking forward to the August 22 concert, and bigger & better events in the years to come."

The next concert is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, from 6 pm to 8 pm.   Food vendors will be in attendance for concert-goers.
