Northampton’s improved Terrace Trails now open to public
NORTHAMPTON – With summer in full force, a recent project to improve a well-loved trail in the city is now complete. In a post on its social media, the Northampton Office of Planning and Sustainability announced that the Terrace Trails Accessible Trails project is now open to the public thanks to a Community Health Inclusion Index grant of a little over $21,300 and a partnership between Stavros Independent Living, All Out Adventures and the Office of Planning and Sustainability.

DEERFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The storms that rolled through Tuesday night left damage behind, including downed trees and power outages in Franklin County. It has been a long nearly 24 hours for electrical crews in Greenfield as they had been looking to fix multiple issues. Approximately one or two minutes away from the area of Monson Street and Wisdom Way in Greenfield, multiple utility trucks could be seen addressing a downed tree that knocked out electrical wires. Kristin and Corriann Delaney, a mother and daughter who live just down the road from the tree fell, told Western Mass News that they have not had electricity and running water since around 9 p.m. Tuesday night. They did, however, have a small generator, which helped them and their dog get through the night.
