Shots of the Week: Lady Falcons shining with Stars

Throughout the summer, we’re inviting you to share your best shots from sporting events featuring individuals and/or teams from Hawkins County. Any age group, any level, win or lose.

This week’s segment features the 18U TN Stars Fastpitch (Pickering) players and coaches, who are putting in the work on the softball field this summer. Volunteer is well-represented on the squad with rising junior Hadley Spears, rising senior Jenna Thomas and 2024 graduate Haley Russell, a Covenant commit. Lady Falcon Jayden Ford, a rising junior, has also played with the team. This weekend, the Stars will travel to Dalton, Georgia, for the PGF World Series.

The Stars are coached by Jonathan Pickering with assistants Devin Thomas and Jason Spears.
