4,000 Wichita voters will vote at new polling site
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Approximately 4,100 voters are receiving mail notices that they will vote at a different polling place on Aug. 6. Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater said the assigned polling location for the primary election has changed for residents in precincts 105, 130 and 339. Those precincts are near the I-135 and Kellogg interchange.

Salvation Army unveils new recovery home in with 21 beds
A new recovery home is opening in downtown Wichita. The Salvation Army of South Central Kansas previously used the space as a homeless shelter but has transitioned it to care for those in recovery. The shelter is meant to help those in need of mental health care and substance abuse treatment, as well as those experiencing homelessness.
