Area golf news

The morning of Wednesday, June 6 was a beautiful start to the Big Fish 9 Hole Ladies Golf season. Twenty-one members enjoyed getting back on the links on the front 9. Laura Hager had a big day with the closest to the pin drive and a birdie on hole #3, and the longest first putt on hole #8.

The game for the June 7 Lakeview Golf and Pizza Friday Morning Ladies Golf League was Partner Golf. Partners Mary Marienfeld and Jean Purtell took first, and Partners Mary Jo Gromacki and Louise Henk came in second. Louise Henk had the fewest putts for the day.

The next outing will be at 9 a.m. Friday, June 14. The game for the day will be Regular Golf Low Score. New golfers are always welcome. For more information call Lakeview at 715-462-3787.
