The Dallas Police Department has lost one of its own. Officer Thomas Lee Harris, a member of the force, was recently commemorated on the department’s official social media channels. The tribute post, which simply read "Roll Call of Honor - Officer Thomas Lee Harris #GoneButNotForgotten #DallasPD," was accompanied by an image honoring the fallen officer. The somber announcement, made by the Dallas Police Department last Saturday, reminds us that the safety our officers provide sometimes comes at the ultimate cost.

Though the Wyoming Area football program’s state championship in 2019 came more than a decade after Paul Marranca passed the head coach headset to Randy Spencer, the title is part of Marranca’s legacy. Probing the cause of two separate fires this weekend in NEPA
Fire damaged an apartment building in Taylor Saturday afternoon, leaving 8 people without a place to live. Flames broke out just before 1 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street in Taylor. Smoke could be seen coming from the back of the building. Several fire departments responded to help put out the flames. Neighbors say everyone made it out safely following that weekend fire in Taylor.
