A woman who was killed when a large tree fell onto her camper during a severe microburst storm on Sunday has been identified. Carol E. Luistro of Edison, New Jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene, after the storm tore through the Russell Brook campground in Delaware County Sunday morning, according to the Colchester Police Department.

DWI Checkpoint Set for Friday, July 5; Extra Roving Police Patrols

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A St. George man accused of shackling and assaulting a woman inside a mobile home near the Staten Island Courthouse is headed to prison. The defendant, Alexander Isaac, was initially arrested on charges that included rape and possession of a pipe bomb in connection with the March 27, 2023 incident, which unfolded over several hours.
