    HBCU season openers for DII football

    As August starts to creep to a close, that means it’s time for HBCU football. But you already knew that, my apologies for insulting your intelligence. So here’s a small assist to all Division II football fans , with a listing of the season openers for each team in the SIAC, the CIAA, and Lincoln of Missouri.

    CIAA games on Saturday, August 31

    Fayetteville State and Bowie State don’t play their first game until week two, so we’ve included the entire week two schedule for the CIAA.

    The SIAC

    The SIAC rolls out its season openers over the course of week one and week two of the HBCU football season. Here’s a look at the first two weeks for all of the SIAC squads.

    Lincoln University of Missouri

    Division II HBCU football isn’t played exclusively in the CIAA and the SIAC. Lincoln (MO) opens up play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference on Sept. 7 at Quincy in Illinois. That game is a 1pm start. The Blue Tigers are back at home versus McKendree the following weekend with a 7pm kickoff.
