Richardson man charged with murder of Garland resident
RICHARDSON, Texas — The Richardson Police Department has charged 43-year-old Ronald Martin, of Richardson, with the murder of a 32-year-old resident of Garland. On July 2, 2024, officers were dispatched to 1801 North Greenville Ave. to locate an individual reported missing to Garland Police on June 30, 2024. Witnesses who knew the missing person indicated he was last seen at the location in an apartment rented by Ronald Martin. After checking the apartment and finding neither the missing person nor Martin, officers observed evidence of foul play. In the following days, the investigation led to the deceased body of the reported person and identified Ronald Martin as a suspect in the death. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Martin and determined he was no longer in Texas.
