Fugitive charged with Springfield murder arrested
A former Springfield resident charged with murder who had been on the run for over a year has been captured. Latashia Mullins, 48, was arrested by United States Marshals on July 10 in Plano, Texas, after the Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a tip on her whereabouts. Mullins was indicted for murder and first-degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under) on June 14, 2023. She had been at large since being indicted.
