Arts Commission invests in Lubeznik Center for the Arts to strengthen Michigan City through arts and creativity
Yesterday, the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced it has awarded $18,215 to Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) through the Arts Organization Support grant program. During its June 14 Quarterly Business Meeting, the Commission approved funding recommendations for the Arts Project Support and Arts Organization Support grant programs. Between the two grant programs, 338 organizations in 77 Indiana counties are receiving funding.

2024 Kougars hard at work
Your KVHS Football Team hosted Hammond Central in a summer scrimmage Thursday, July 25. (see pictures) The 2024 Kougars return plenty of experience and are eager to begin the season. The first day of official fall practice is Monday, August 5. The season begins with a scrimmage at Boone Grove Friday, August 16, 7pm. The season kicks off vs. rival Rensselaer on Friday, August 23, 7pm in the “Battle for the Barrell”. Come on out to Fred Jones Field and join the excitement!
