Garcelle Beauvais debuted the perfect copper hue just in time for the upcoming Autumn season, and we’re adding it to our fall hairstyle mood board.
The actress hit the red carpet for her latest project, Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted by Love , looking like she’s actively defying the laws of aging. Clad in a black suit, a jeweled bowtie, and a head full of gorgeous curls that fell loosely over her shoulders.
The ombre style featured golden brown locs that transitioned into a soft, coppery hue.

Beauvais is known to frequently switch up her mane as most Black women do. Earlier that day, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member paid a visit to The SiriusXM Studio with a center-part buss down that fell to her waist. The dark, auburn hue has been her color of choice for the last couple of months.

While the actress loves to play with various hairstyles, in an interview with Hype Hair (captured by BET ) she shares that she learned to appreciate her hair once she hit her 40s.
“I didn’t realize that I had ‘good hair’ until I was in my 40s!” she told the publication.
“At first, I thought, ‘Oh, my god, what am I gonna do?’ We come out of the womb and they’re already putting relaxers and all kinds of stuff in our hair and you don’t know your hair,” she said half-jokingly.
She continued, “But, then I discovered that I liked my curl pattern. It’s what helps when I say to my kids that you get your curls from me—because they’re mixed. It redefined what I think of my hair.”
