According to a spokesperson for the I-69 Ohio River Crossing, in addition to maps, information and interactive activities associated with the roundabouts, attendees will hear about the progress that’s been made in Henderson and what to expect the rest of the year. Work started in summer 2022. Construction is about 60% complete and will be 75% complete by the end of this year. Work on Section 1 is expected to be finished in late 2025.

I-69 Ohio River Crossing officials explain the in-person meeting will be open house format with a project presentation planned in the school auditorium at 6:00 p.m. The virtual reality station will be open throughout the meeting. Attendees will also have the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the Project Team.

Officials note construction is expected to begin soon in Evansville, and members of the I-69 ORX Section 3 will be available to provide more information on the work to come and answer any questions the public might have.
