First heatwave of 2024 features a blazing hot holiday weekend
That’s how I would describe the last few days. Brief morning clouds to afternoon sunshine, cool mornings in the 50s, then late afternoon temperatures up around 80. Just today I was thinking how nice it was; wondering why it’s necessary to jump those temperatures up 20-25 degrees. Unfortunately, that’s going to happen during the long “holiday weekend” Thursday through Sunday. Get ready for a scorcher folks! Tomorrow will be the last comfortable day for at least a week. Hot weather arrives later on the 4th of July (Thursday) and really ramps up Friday through early next week.
