22-year-old Henrico man struck and killed on Cedar Fork Road

A Henrico man died after being struck by a vehicle along Cedar Fork Road July 17. The driver stopped and remained on scene; police do not believe alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.

The crash was reported at about 8:53 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar Fork Road and Tiffanywoods Lane, according to Henrico Police. When police arrived, they found 22-year-old Tyrone Calvin Jeffries with serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he died early Thursday morning, according to police.

A police investigation is ongoing.
