    Spend your well-deserved Labor Day dancing to pop, country and rock at The Wharf , 606 Quay St.

    Road Trip will take over the scene with live music from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 2.

    The lights, videos and smoke from this band create a fun concert experience right on the riverfront.

    Gervis Myles is a talented guitarist, singer and songwriter across a variety of musical genres. He’s taking over the MetroStage at Washington Park, 1115 Washington St., in Manitowoc with the help of The Tillie Tops.

    See the 'American Farmer' exhibit

    If you haven’t been yet, there’s still time to see the "American Farmer" exhibit at Manitowoc Public Library, 707 Quay St.

    This exhibit shows the living spirit of America’s heartland farmers with 45 black-and-white portraits of strong individuals during their day-to-day work. There are moving images across all sectors of agriculture, from cattle ranchers to strawberry growers.

    The beauty of the Downtown Manitowoc Farmers' Market is that there’s always something fresh and new.

    See what late summer brings to the market, including consumables such as jam, vegetables and baked goods.

    The market is also a great place to purchase local gifts such as canvas art, wooden décor and hand-sewn items.

    Check it out every Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. through October at 720 Quay St.
