Howland man accused of threatening to choke and punch girlfriend’s 6-year-old son; police arrest him
A 38-year-old Howland Township man was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing after a Niles woman reported to police that her boyfriend threatened to choke her and punch her 6-year-old son. Police reported that the two had argued on the telephone sometime Thursday, July 18 when the threats were made.
Raccoon rabies vaccinations will drop from the sky in Allegheny County next month
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Aircraft will drop rabies vaccination baits across Allegheny County next month as part of a massive effort to eventually eradicate the raccoon variant of the virus from the country. The vaccination program is spearheaded by the United States Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services, which the Allegheny County Health Department partners with annually.
