Utica gas station burns down after fire breaks out
UTICA, Miss. — The Utica Fire Department is investigating after a gas station in the rural Hinds County area burned down. According to Jordan Lyons, the Utica volunteer assistant fire chief, firefighters got the call shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday to the Pit Stop gas station on East Main Street.

Man dies in motorcycle crash during pursuit
TEXARKANA, Ark. (KSLA) - Three motorcyclists led Arkansas police on a chase that resulted in the death of one of the drivers. On July 21 at 1:02 a.m., the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) began a traffic stop on three motorcycles in the 3600 block of Arkansas Boulevard. Residents of Westwood and the broader community were shaken early Saturday morning when a parking lot gathering spiraled into violence. According to Action News 5, two individuals were injured in a shooting at the Westwood Community Center parking lot at 810 Western Park Drive. Memphis authorities have recently charged a man with theft of property allegedly worth between $10,000 and $60,000 after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle, authorities said.
