Fire that destroyed apartment building in Orange Mound caused by arson, MFD says
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A huge fire destroyed an apartment building in Orange Mound after someone set fire to the complex early Monday morning, the Memphis Fire Department said. Firefighters were battling the flames just after 3 a.m. on July 22, 2024, in the 2800 block of Washington Square Drive, near Kimball Avenue and Cherokee Park.

Man dies in motorcycle crash during pursuit
