A juvenile male is accused of threatening another person with a gun in Carbondale. Late on the night of July 19, the Carbondale Police Department received a complaint about a male who was in possession of a handgun threatening the manager of a store in the 500 block of East Main Street.

EAST ST. LOUIS – A federal district judge has sentenced a Christopher man to 24 months in prison after he admitted to printing counterfeit money. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois, 38-year-old Michael A. Eskew pleaded guilty to one count of manufacture of counterfeit obligations of the U.S., one count of possession of counterfeit obligations of the U.S., and one count of possessing digital image of U.S. currency for counterfeiting.
Portageville, Mo. man accused of threatening people with gun in Carbondale
CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A southeast Missouri man is accused of threatening people with a gun in Carbondale. Ethan J. Jones, 21, of Portageville, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
