Ohio gets millions from the feds to plug abandoned oil, natural gas wells
Ohio is getting another chunk of money from the Biden administration to clean up and plug abandoned oil and natural gas wells that plague the state's countryside. The Interior Department has awarded the state $57.25 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the federal law passed in 2021 that commits $1.2 trillion to fix roads and bridges, expand internet access, provide access to clean water, improve ports, invest in public transportation and other purposes. The law provides $16 billion to address what the Biden administration calls legacy pollution by reclaiming abandoned coal mines and plugging orphaned wells.

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) — A Chicago, Ill. man has been arrested following a multi-county police pursuit on Sunday around 8:47 a.m. Jeffery L. Price, 44, fled from police in his Nissan Rogue through Allen and Whitley counties causing a high-speed pursuit from Indiana State Police, Fort Wayne police and Columbia City police.
Indiana Man Apprehended Following High-Speed Chase Through Construction Zone
On Friday night, a man from Indiana was caught after a high-speed pursuit in DeKalb and Noble counties, which resulted in a patrol car crash and several felony charges. At around 9:30 p.m., Dusty E. Dawkins, 43, was pursued by the Indiana State Police after allegedly driving without tail lights. The chase started when a trooper tried to stop him on SR327 near Warfield Street in Garrett. Dawkins chose to ignore the trooper, sped off south on SR327, and disregarded the “road closed” sign on CR56 due to ongoing construction.

City to hold public meeting about North Clinton Street improvements
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne officials are inviting the residents to attend a public meeting about the North Clinton Street Improvements Project.
